On August 13th the Wanderers took on the Mosquitoes who are currently ranked 4th in the Austrian Softball League and won 8-1. Though game two was cancelled due to a cloud burst and heavy rain, the two teams battled it out in game one. Christine Farnleitner dominated on the mound giving up only one run in five innings with a total of six strike outs. The Wanderers rattled the bats, coming out strong with four runs in the 1st  and 2nd inning.  Nicky Neumann came out solid with back to back triples, scoring Denise Orlovits twice. Caroline Meriaux and Farnleitner also knocked in a couple RBI’s for the Wanderers.
The Vienna Wanderers headed to Edirne to play in the Euro Cup on August 14th.
